In addition to "Diga Diga Doo" (their first hit), the powerhouse team of Dorothy Fields and Jimmy McHugh also wrote, "Doin' the New Low Down", "I Can't Give You Anything But Love", "On the Sunny Side of the Street" and "I'm in the Mood for Love".

This song debuted in the Broadway revue "Blackbirds
of 1928" during the "Scene in Jungleland" sequence.
