NEW HUNTING ARROW * Speed & Penetration *

Описание к видео NEW HUNTING ARROW * Speed & Penetration *

I decided to change my bow hunting arrows from the Easton Full Metal Jackets -- FMJ's -- to the Easton Axis arrows. The Full Metal Jacket is a carbon arrow with an aluminum sleeve. It weighs in at 10.2 grains per inch. The Easton Axis arrow is a carbon arrow that weighs in at 9 grains per inch. The axis is still on the heavy end for carbon arrows, but much lighter than the FMJ. I will increase the weight of my new carbon arrow slightly with a heavier brass insert to increase my FOC, but overall the arrow's weight will be lighter than my previous FMJ set-up. Hopefully this will make for a good balance of penetration and speed. We'll see. Might need to go to an even lighter carbon arrow! Let the games begin :)
