I cannot find fault with the legendary 911. I love them all. There are, however, some that I like more than others. While I completely adore the 930s, the M491 stands out to me. You see, turbo cars of the 80s are an acquired taste. There's lots of no go, followed by an onslaught of go that you may or may not be prepared for. What if you wanted the fantastic looks of a thick hipped 911 but didn't want all the drama?

Welcome to the M491 good sirs. Turbo-look cars are just that. While this cab isn't the body type I'd go for, the flares and whale tail are what makes this car. This car, out of Dallas, was low miles and by all appearances barely used. I fantasized about rowing the gears through the foggy hills of Big Sur while taking my sweet time photographing it!
