The Last Story is a fantastic JRPG on the Nintendo Wii, which was written and co-directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi. Interestingly, it was recently revealed that Nintendo has filed a trademark for the series, only for The Last Story 2 on the Nintendo Switch to be shortly after listed for pre-order by German retailer 'Media Markt.' Could both of these reveals so close together hint that the Final Fantasy creator's series is returning?
