Premiere Pro CC: How To Create Pancake or Stacked Timelines

A pancake or stacked timeline is when you have timelines on top of each other. You can stack multiple timelines.
This is a great timesaver for assembling clips from your main footage.

To create a pancake timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019:
Create at least 2 timelines
Click on the title of the sequence and drag towards the bottom of the main timeline
When you see a blue bar at the bottom, let go

To Use Pancake or Stacked Timelines:
Toggle back and forth by clicking in either timeline
The blue bounding box signifies which timeline is in focus
Drag footage back and forth between each timeline

To Restore Single Timeline:
Click Hamburger Menu near title of sequence and ‘Close Panel’
or, Click title of sequence and drag up and drop next to main sequence to go back to tab view
