🎤 Vedan – The Rapper & His Event in Kasaragod
Vedan (real name Hirandas Murali) is a Malayalam rapper and songwriter from Kerala who performs at music events and festivals. He is known for his songs in the Malayalam hip-hop scene and has contributed to films as well.

Recently, Vedan performed at an event in Kasaragod as part of the Bekal International Beach Festival. However, his show faced serious overcrowding and safety issues at the venue near Bekal Park:

A large crowd surged toward the stage, causing many attendees to feel unwell and some children and adults were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Officials eventually halted the concert due to overcrowding to prevent further danger.

After the event was stopped, as crowds dispersed, two youths were struck by a train, and tragically a 19-year-old died from his injuries.

Vedan has also been in the news for legal controversies unrelated to the Kasaragod event, including serious rape and sexual exploitation allegations, drug-related cases, and other legal matters that have attracted public attention and court actions
