DO NOT Follow His Soundproofing Advice!!

How to soundproof a room for $20 is a popular video short that would have you believe that sticking 60 acoustic foam panels will successfully soundproof your room from noisy neighbors on the other side of the wall. If you followed his advice, you will be out $80 at least and will also be very disappointed with the soundproofing effectiveness of acoustic foam panels.

Acoustic foam and acoustic panels are not sound proofing material, they are sound deadening material. They will not block outside noise from coming into the room, it doesn't work that way. So I decided to make a reaction video of one of the most popular soundproofing videos on YouTube, where the information is wrong.
