Hey guys, welcome back to my Song of the Week series where every week I choose my favorite song that I have been listening to over the past week, and explain why I like it so much, and why I think it's good.

This week, we have Airiel. I recently started trying to play some shoegaze myself, and stumbled upon a YouTube video that had Airiel as one of the riffs and I thought they sounded good and checked them out. Although, I didn't want to do In Your Room because that's the one that everyone knows, instead I went a bit deeper and chose this one, genuinely because I believe its on a similar level if not better. The atmosphere that they create in this song is really dreamy and honestly one of the best atmosphere's I've heard. The effects and tone they have on their guitar is really just perfect. And the vocals on top of everything felt like another instrument. I have just really been enjoying this type of music recently because it doesn't really demand anything from you and is a great way to unwind for me.

On a side note, I'm trying to learn how to play Altogether by Slowdive right now, and I've gotten about 50% of the way learning it right now I'd say. Still struggling with certain parts. But, I want to be able to play it and post it on here one day.
