Our leaders are very important in dry fly fishing as they have to contend with two competing problems: having enough thickness to turn the fly over and hold onto a fighting fish, yet be skinny enough so that the fish will not be turned away by them. In this video we'll look at dry fly leaders and the "X" rating system based on leader (tippet) diameter.
