I acquired this 50s British-made Shandon Scientific 2541 DC power supply in a large lot of items a while back. It's been sitting around ever since. In this video, we'll put a new power cord on it, order some missing tubes and see if it still works. This would be a useful unit for prototyping tube circuits. The high voltage DC goes up to almost 500VDC and it also has a 6.3VAC filament supply. It uses some unusual CV287 voltage regulator tubes, an EL34 and a 5V4 rectifier.
