1967 Pontiac LeMans Convertible Put Back On The Road After 38 Years!

In this video, I surprised my friend by putting his late-brother's 1967 Pontiac LeMans (GTO clone) convertible back on the road for the first time in 38 years. This 1967 LeMans has nearly every GTO-specific piece on it. Under the hood is a 400 CI Pontiac engine with a Turbo 400 transmission. It was parked back in 1986. The old hot rod was in beautiful shape despite its long hibernation. I had about three and a half days to work on the car while my friend was on vacation. During that time, I did everything the car needed in order to be drivable, plus some cosmetic touches, in about 40 hours. I didn't necessarily have permission to do this from him, but I figured that we were close enough that he wouldn't be upset with the results. My gamble paid off. His reaction was what I had hoped for and we then spent hours talking about everything that him and his brother did to the car back in the 80s. This has been and likely will be the most emotional vehicle revival I'll ever do. Hope you're proud of how your car looks, John.
