On February 21, the National Investigation Agency raided 75 establishments in seven states including Delhi. The operation was part of the government's crackdown on the alleged nexus between terrorists, criminals, and narcotics smugglers. In each of the seven states and the Union Territory, NIA teams raided a few suspected residences. At roughly 4 a.m., NIA teams of around a dozen officials travelled to all of these places. The NIA said the investigation will continue to dismantle such terror networks as well as their funding and support infrastructure.
