Working with a milling machine can quickly turn your workshop into a mess. These machines are notorious for throwing hot chips in every direction, and when you add a flood cooling system into the mix, it only makes things worse. Sometimes, it even feels like the milling machine is having a blast splashing cooling water everywhere!
The cooling water clings to every machining tool, especially slitting saws and end mills, and then flings it all over the place, turning cleanup into a constant battle.
In this video, I’m going to share the solution I came up with to tame the milling machine’s ability to scatter chips and keep the mess under control.
