In this video, I’m showing you a funny (and educational) gardening accident! I had a batch of cauliflower seedlings that I completely ran out of time to transplant. Usually, when seedlings are left in the tray too long, they become root-bound, turn yellow, and wither away.

​But look at this! 🥦

​Because the seedling mix I used was high quality and nutrient-dense, this little plant didn't just survive—it thrived enough to produce a tiny, perfect head of cauliflower right inside the nursery tray.

​🌱 Why The Growing Media Matters:
Many gardeners think soil is just "dirt," but this proves that your starting media is the engine of your growth. A cheap mix would have starved this plant weeks ago. Because this mix had excellent:
1. ​Nutrient Retention: It held onto food for the plant even in a tiny space.
2. Root Aeration: It allowed the roots to breathe despite being crowded.

​If you want strong starts (and apparently micro-vegetables!), never underestimate the power of your seedling mix.
