I just finished this level completely solo after over a year, mainly because I took a long break in between. This is a remake of the first extreme-demon platformer "I Wanna Be The Guy", and that mentality is exactly why I named this level "I Wanna Be The Apex" — it’s tougher, more decorated, and meant to push the idea even further.

This level is also part of a trilogy I'm currently creating, and it represents the second chapter of the series called "Lost of Gods", which slowly reveals parts of the story throughout the gameplay and visuals.

Now, I want to talk about a crucial point: the spike jumps using hitboxes. Yes, they were completely intentional. I just wanted to enjoy myself while building the level without overthinking every detail. In fact, this kind of controversial gameplay style is exactly what I wanted to bring out — something bold, unusual, and fun for me to create.
