Servicing the brakes on a CT90/110 is a simple job. This video shows how to change the brake shoes, check for wear & the difference between early & later model bikes on both front & rear brakes. Although CT 110 parts are used in this video, much of what is shown, including changing brake shoes will help you with your CT 90.

In the video I say the rear brake diameter was increased in 1993, that was an error, I believe it was post 1999 when the brake was increased from 110mm to 130mm. The larger axle dia without a castle nut & split pin is the easy easy to tell if you bike has the larger rear brake.
