Analogue HD surveillance systems provide companies with a cost-effective and efficient video surveillance option that is easy to install. They combine the advantages of full HD resolution and excellent night vision functionality with straightforward camera installation and connection using standard coaxial cables with a BNC connector. Over distances of 300 m (RG59) to 500 m (RG6), it is usually possible to continue using existing cables, making for an ideal solution for extending or upgrading (retrofitting) existing analogue systems.

The powerful recorders feature advanced motion detection and video content analysis (VCA), meaning less storage space is taken up and finding specific parts of recordings is a much quicker process. Live images and recordings can be viewed locally on the monitor or on a TV video wall. Remote access to the recorder is no problem via the app. Plus, several recorders can be controlled from a central monitoring station PC (e.g. branch surveillance from a head office) using ABUS CMS software.

The components shown are all from the ABUS professional range for monitoring premises within the commercial sector and for project applications. We recommend you ask a specialist company to take care of installation and set-up for you. Private households and small businesses also have the option of using items from the analogue HD retail range.

Signal transmission with HD-TVI:
ABUS analogue HD components transfer image, audio and control data via coaxial cables according to the HD-TVI standard.

Compatible with analogue cameras and recorders from the old generation:
Existing analogue cameras (from the previous generation) can be operated with ABUS analogue HD recorders. In such cases, however, live display and recording will be at the old camera's (lower) resolution. Existing analogue recorders (from the old generation) can also be operated with analogue HD cameras as long as they have an analogue BNC output (CVBS), like current ABUS models.
