The process of creating a US PSN account on PS5 isn’t too different, and is very similar to setting up your primary account in your home country. The only real difference is that you need to select an alternate region/location.

Head to Sony’s website to create your account or do it via the PS5’s own account creation screen.
Choose a email and password that hasn’t been used with an existing account.
When filling out your information (including your first and last name), you’ll need to input a real-life location from the US, since you are pretending to be from that region – Google Maps will help here!
Add the further details such as the City, State or Province, making sure that it matches the location you input above.
Select a new username that isn’t already in use for your new account.
Choose your Privacy and Settings options.
Sign in using your new account, and you’re good to go!
