This video shows the Member Card Event in Pokémon Platinum Europe Version.

To get the Member Card, you need Mystery Gift. Choose: Get via Nintendo WFC and connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You will receive the Member Card. Go to a Poké Market and talk to the green man. He will give you the Member Card.

To battle against Darkrai, you must have the National Dex. Then go to the house of the sailor in Canalave City and talk to the boy in bed. Then go to the sailor and he will take you to Fullmoon Island. You'll see Cresselia there and a Lunar Wing. Take the Lunar Wing to the boy in bed and he awakes. Then go to the house above the Pokémon Center in Canalave City, which is normally closed. Now it's open, so go inside. You can see everything after that in the video.

Darkrai is a Dark type and has the moves Double Team, Faint Attack, Hypnosis and Nightmare. He's at level 50 and has a catch rate of 3, so it's very difficult to catch.
