The military council arrested Blamer Tha Mee Soe @ Thet Ko Ko at Yangon International Airport over old cases in which she had spoken out calling for the moral disgrace of Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Kyu Kyu Hla, and other military officers. Tha Mee Soe’s husband is himself an officer under the military council and had attained the rank of Deputy Battalion Commander. It is reported that a woman named A Thin Ko from Pyin Oo Lwin filed a complaint against Thamee Soe, and as a result, she will be transferred to Pyin Oo Lwin. The exact reason behind the military council’s decision to arrest her remains unclear and intriguing.

In Lemyethna Township, Ayeyarwady Region, intense clashes have been taking place between the military council forces and the Arakan Army (AA) along with allied resistance forces (PDF) near Thenukone and Pantaw Gyi villages on the Pathein–Monywa road.

The military council has also been reinforcing troops at the Yaenantthar military checkpoint located on the Gwa-Ngathaingchaung route.

In Bago Region, Nyaunglebin Township, the Pyu Saw Htee leader U Kyaw Win has been forcibly conscripting local residents for military service, while reportedly sending his own son to Thailand just before his turn for conscription arrived.
