Sounds Sick Episode 46: Dynacord Echocord Mini

Welcome to episode #46 of Sounds Sick, the format, where we´re gonna present a bunch of cool and/or unusual stuff from our studio!
The videos show the sound that really let´s the amp/gear shine , in our opinion. Wether it´s a jangly clean tone or fuzzy rock sound.



This time we´re featuring the Dynacord Echocord Mini.
This Real Tape delay from the 60s is already completely solid state, but it still surpasses every delay pedal you´ve ever heard!

This is one of the later models, which already replaced the pesky DIN-Connectors with the now common 6,3mm Jacks.
It does have some warble and distortion, as it is over 50 Years old now, so it is simply due for a tune up.
But my god, just listen to this thing!

Mic´d with a Shure sm57 up close, and a Brauner Phanthera for ambience/room.
No eq, compression or other effects where used!
