This was my first ADCC tournament at the 2025 ADCC US Portland Open. This was my second match. It was a tough competitor and an experienced purple belt. He went for the heel hooks in both matches, the first time was a bit rough the second time I was better prepared and not only defended it better but had a cleaner heel hook of my own. I had a lot of fun and can't wait to go to another.
