The 7th Summit of the Americas will be opened here on Friday, with its convention center and accomodation hotels equipped with scanners and radio-active material detectors made in China.

“NucTech is proud to be the provider of these securities accessories for such an event that convenes over 30 state heads, including U.S. President Barrack Obama and his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro, ” said Zhao Liang, the manufacturer’s regional head.

Altogether 30 sets of X-ray image-gathering facilities were installed at the convention sites and the hotels where the heads of states would be accommodated, two others would be used for mobile operations, two sets of radio-active material detectors were adopted for national banquets, and a number of hand-set explosives detectors were allocated to the police force, according to Zhao.

NucTech is a Chinese company with an eye on development and production of security devices. Its products can be found in over 100 countires, including the United States, Russia and some European Union nations. Enditem
