StayC (에버글로우) is getting more and more popular every comeback. Their new comeback, Young Luv, is coming soon. So let’s see which member is the most popular before their highly anticipated comeback. One day they might be Korea’s national girl group on the international stage and High Up Ent is growing as well, along with a new group in the making.For this video, I’ve categorized the girls into different categories to find out which member is the most popular as of now (Mid Feb 2022). I think it’s fair to do it this way as we get a broader range of topics that include both Korea and the West and rest of the world. That means my bias could not be involved in this (if it were trust me, I’d be putting Seeun & Sumin at the top lol)
The girls are divided into 4 main categories. Within each category, the girls are ranked accordingly & their average ranking in those categories are used to find the OVERALL average rank!
Most Searched –Data used from google & naver (one to represent the World & Naver reps Korea)-

Most Watched –Ranked based off each members’ place in: fancam views (only using their most viewed stayc fancams); Solo Music/Video views (these are the videos HighUp uploads of their members doing some kind of solo activity like J singing Dua Lipa); YouTube Search Score (this is a new metric but good for finding out how often people want to see each individual member)

Most Liked –Based on placements in: kprofiles rank; melon hearts rank; fancam likes (only using data from their most viewed fancam)-

Most Followed –Possibly the most confusing category BUT hear me out. This is based on ranks from: the most followed Instagram fansite; most followed Facebook page; twitter hashtags (based on which member had the most hashtag engagement on twt) & kpopping average (they have weekly data on how viewed the members’ pages are—so I used the average score for the entire month leading up to mid feb).
