The Last Dance (percussion duet)

Filmed in November 2020. This is not to be confused with the Michael Jordan documentary.
Kato Daiki composed this piece for marimba solo and percussion accompaniment in 2015. It is one of my favorite pieces I have played thus far! The movement of the harmony in this piece and the variety of sections is something I really admire about the composition. The modulation is not only really smooth, but captivating. Enjoy!
The performers are members of the Auburn University Percussion Ensemble:
Reid Meinert (percussion) - Junior, majoring in Music Education and Performance.
