A warning: this video is for diehard "early cinema invention" enthusiasts - and Leeds historians - only. Apologies for the poor sound - recorded in 1988 on a portable cassette recorder. This is an impressionist ramble about my visit in October 1988 to Leeds, on the occasion of the centenary 're-enactment' of the filming of 'Traffic on Leeds Bridge' (1888) by Louis LePrince. Images are almost all stills and Super 8 footage that I took on the day. My apologies for not listing the people who made this event happen - I've kept to the original audio rather than add later commentary, with just two or three text updates at the end.
