The F-Type R's exhaust note is pure theatre – it genuinely sounds like a Spitfire roaring down the runway!

After soaking in the aviation history and grabbing a bite, we set off on a spirited drive to Hythe Quay, Maldon, with stunning views and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the power and performance of both the Jaguar and my Porsche 911 (996 C4S).
