Описание к видео 1973 Mick Andrews Trials School, New Zealand (Yamaha)

In December 1973, British Trials legend Mick Andrews visited New Zealand to pass on some of his skills to the local riders.

Andrews rode for the Spanish Ossa factory as a top Motocrosser before a shoulder injury caused him to swap to factory supported (Ossa) international Trials events.

An engineer, he then signed for Yamaha and worked with the factory in developing their first trials model, the TY250cc. He came to the Hamilton Motor Cycle Club event as part of a Yamaha sales promotion for their brand-new model.

This film shows Andrews arriving in Hugh Anderson's Mercedes before riding a Yamaha loaned by Trevor Rose of the HMCC, at Te Pahu.
