A 5.0 Tank with MORE armor than a Modern MBT - KV-1 m1942 in War Thunder

The KV-1 m1942 is a Finnish Heavy Tank for the Swedish tech tree. This KV-1 is probably the most armored in the game but it sports the very lackluster Zis-5 cannon with only 96mm of penetration. For a 5.0 tank this gun doesn't seem very good but it can definitely be usable if you know what you're doing.

You're probably wondering how much turret armor the KV-1 has... and it's everything between 400-600mm on the turret cheeks which is an absolutely insane amount.

Compared to the KV-1C it has quadruple the protection but the gun is definitely a trade-off.

I didn't expect it, but this tank is actually very good and compliments the Sweden 5.0 lineup VERY well.
