Elex 2 got some new gameplay details, and I wanted to break it down a bit, and give some of my thoughts as a relative outsider to the franchise. Plus, more details one some of what the game is going to offer beyond what was shown here, as reported by multiple outlets.

Elex 2 is the sequel to Elex, an open world sci fi RPG that has built a bit of a cult following, thus resulting in the developer deciding it was warranted to build a sequel to the game, and hopefully improve upon some of the elements of the original title. Worth noting Piranha Bytes is not a big developer and has a small staff, so if you’re looking for a super high fidelity, highly polished game, look elsewhere.
