Tandy released the Tandy 2000 to transition away from their TRS-80 line and pivot towards competing with the up and coming IBM PC platform. Unfortunately, with an incompatible cpu, incompatible graphics, and even incompatible floppy drives the Tandy 2000 would struggle to find a foothold in the market for it's entire life. Still, this retro computer is a fascinating system with a very interesting story behind it.
