Temptation Rag by Henry Lodge (1909)

This was Lodge's first big hit, and a hit it has been into the current day. Recent fame is due to its use in the movie "The Joker", but it has enjoyed some popularity in ragtime circles for decades. Published by M. Witmark in New York in 1909. This is the first of five Henry Lodge scores in this series.

This is a reproduction of the original score (not an arranged version). The original does contain extensive fingering notation which I have omitted. Actual playback speed is 102bpm, not 108 as stated in this score.
