The second Community Call of WSO2 API Manager was held on the 5th of March 2020 by interactively engaging with API Management enthusiasts. This session was moderated by Pubudu Gunatilaka and the agenda was as follows,

1. How to secure your APIs.
2. Open Discussion Session.

API Security is very important and we discussed the possible options on how we can secure APIs. Under API Security, we discussed basic authentication, OAuth2, API keys and mutual authentication.

During the Open discussion session, the following questions were answered,

a) Managing API life cycles with API microgateway

b) Use distributed throttling for API microgateway with Traffic Manager

c) Open Tracing support for API Gateway

d) Changing certificates in API microgateway using the toml file

e) Decouple BPS from API Manager

f) Integration of APIs
