Hyperloop in INDIA

Virgin Hyperloop came to India in 2017 and has been working with the Maharashtra state governments on the Mumbai-Pune project to build the world's first commercial Hyperloop corridor.

The company is planning to have its hyperloop system safety-certified by 2025 and make it ready for passenger operations on commercial projects by as early as 2030, the executive stated. Virgin Hyperloop may also be able to use India as an example to expand its technology in the global markets.

In Simple words hyperloop is going to be a passenger transport which is going have very high speed. And economically is it sound or not - It is very tough to say the reason is , It is in developing stage and it requires high amount of money invested in it but if the company is giving an attractive offer to the government where the expense does not feel like a burden on economy then it is in the interest of the nation to have such an technology being used in India, Speed is the future and I think government is thinking of it in that way, and because this is a future project the chances are that at that time the other transport services of our country is going to be old and some out dated so at that time we have an alternate to the old transport I think the government is investing in these kind of projects / thinking of these projects be it bullet train/ electric trains/ hyperloop etc. These are my personal views, I urge you to read more on this topic .
