Poland trained ahead of their crunch 2026 World Cup qualification fixture on Friday, when the White-Reds welcome Netherlands to Warsaw.

Netherlands lie top of Group G, three points ahead of second-placed Poland, so a victory for the visitors would book their spot at next summer's World Cup.

Poland, meanwhile, have a record of four wins, one draw and one defeat from their six group matches and will be confirmed in the top two if they can avoid defeat in Friday's match, or if Finland do not beat Malta.

Jan Urban's men will come into the match off the back of a 2-0 success over Lithuania, and a victory would move them level on points with the Dutch heading into their final game against Malta on 17th November.

While Poland have only won three of their previous 21 matches against the Netherlands, two of their last four meetings have finished in a draw.

The White-Reds have Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski to spearhead their attack, and the 37-year-old will come into the match fresh from scoring a treble for his club against Celta Vigo.
