No. It takes some time to run the wires, but other than this, the camera and dvr installation are quick and easy.

Is this a good surveillance system?
For a small business we think so. Since our locations are monitored by an alarm company we only use these cctv systems for two things. First: should an alarm every sound, when the alarm company calls, we can check to see if it's something we need to respond to or not. Second: if there's ever a dispute with a customer or a register shortage, we can quickly check the video to see what happened.

Where is the best place to install security cameras?
Obviously you want to monitor you doors and glass areas. So anyone breaking in will be captured. We also place cameras on our cash register and our main product wall. Should anything go missing or something happen at the register, the CCTV will have on the DVR.
