Описание к видео Learn FreeCAD Curves Workbench [7.1] Blend and extend surface between multiple faces. Curved shells

Part 7 video 1 of 2. We continue with the mini series dives deeper into the blend surface tool and how we can use it to model items around a support such as a model head to create helmets and crowns ideal for cosplay. and fancy dress. We learn how a connect faces from multiple objects together via a surface that will follow the natural shape and curvature of the support . The tools are available in the Curve workbench available in FreeCAD 0.19 and above. Our first video of this episode explores how to use the tool using the faces and edges between two objects at different placements and rotation to connect and shape to the faces. We learn how to do this with the face of planes and ruled surfaces. We also explore the options within the tool such as continuity to shape the surface between the two faces.

In video 2 we put what we learn into practice to model a simple cosplay helmet and a crown.
