The Orchestra of The Royal Netherlands Air Force, Orkest Koninkiljke Luchtmacht, performing at the Nationale Taptoe in the Ahoy Arena Rotterdam on Sunday 14th September 2025.
The band was under the direction of Director of Music Jasper Staps and led by Drum Major Luitenant Maarten Pijnenborg. The orchestra decided to theme their show 'Robots' and feature many robots in their futuristic display.

Also in this video you can see the combined Dutch military bands opening the show playing the march 'Mare Liberum' with the Royal Netherlands Air Force Orchestra in the middle of the three. And, the march 'Under the Banner of Peace', played as the massed bands form up for the finale, under the direction of Tattoo Senior Director of Music Jasper Staps from the Royal Netherlands Air Force Band.

Thank you very much to the Dutch branch of the International Military Music Society for the invitation to attend this wonderful tattoo and such a fantastic view.

On a personal note, this was a very unusual display by a band at a military tattoo and something completely different to anything I have ever seen before - very creative!
