Initially founded in 2000 as the San Diego Squad under Southern California Garrison of the 501st Legion, the Imperial Sands Garrison has grown from a small handful of costumers to a group of more than 100 costumers that cover San Diego and Imperial Counties and their outlying areas.

Our Mission is to keep the story of Star Wars alive for current and future generations by creating high-quality costumes and props based on the Star Wars universe, and to contribute to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work.

Rebel Legion Sunrider Base

Sunrider Base is the Southern California chapter of the Rebel Legion, serving the area from San Diego all the way north through Paso Robles. It was founded in 2002 by Jeff Teel as Southern California Base, and the base voted to adopt the name of Sunrider Base in 2005 under the leadership of Donna Keeley.

The base is comprised of over 200 members across the region, sporting the costumes of the “good guys” of the Star Wars universe. The base has had many incredible opportunities, including marching in the Rose Parade in 2007, multiple television premieres for both The Clone Wars and Rebels, and film premieres for every Star Wars movie since The Force Awakens. Sunrider Base also works with numerous charities across the Southern California region, including but not limited to Make A Wish, Ronald McDonald House, Walk to End Alzheimers, Burbank Animal Shelter, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Relay for Life. If you are a charity and would like to work with the base, do not hesitate to contact us!

The Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club is an international STAR WARS™ costuming organization dedicated to celebrating the STAR WARS™ universe through the creation, display, and wearing of quality character costumes that represent the Mandalorian characters and culture from the STAR WARS™ sagas.

The MMCC unites individuals with a common love for STAR WARS™ and the Mandalorian culture/characters while encouraging self-improvement, personal growth, family involvement, and fellowship with peers.

The MMCC promotes interest in STAR WARS™ and facilitates the use of these costumes for STAR WARS™-related events as well as contributing to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work.
