Students at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Residential School in Shamirpet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, have raised serious concerns about their living conditions. The hostel reportedly lacks a proper roof, with plaster peeling off the walls, creating unsafe conditions. Students allege that insects have been found in their meals, adding to their hardships. Despite numerous appeals to the hostel’s deputy warden, the problems remained unresolved. With no other avenue left, the students approached the local police station to seek protection and justice.
