The Tampa Bay Skyway Fishing Piers are a great place to spend a day wetting a line. A wide variety of fish can be caught from these piers. Once again I'm on the hunt to find a couple fishing buddies by visiting popular shore bound fishing spots. I love giving people without a boat the chance to experience the adventure of a fishing trip on a real fishing machine!

My goal for the day was to get a couple of fisherman on some monster fish. I had Goliath Grouper and Sharks in mind. I two cousins, Emilio and Oscar, on the North Skyway Fishing Pier. They were having a slow day on the pier, but I was soon to change all that. I approached Emilio and told him that I was looking for two people to go on a FREE FISHING TRIP. He and his cousin Oscar were more than happy to go! Once we got to the fishing spot, the sharks were so thick we couldn't catch anything else! There were many large sharks such as bull sharks and blacktip sharks. After hooking several fish and breaking off, we finally stuck a large shark that stayed on the hook. A long battle ensued that lasted over half an hour. With alot of grunting and sweat, we got the shark to the surface. Lots of memories were made as well as big smiles.

Ever since the first surprise free fishing trip, I've really come to love doing these trips. Its become a part of my mission here at Head First Fishing to meet new people and give the gift of great fishing to nice people. I'm loving every second.
