Grant Cardone interviews Hubert Humphrey on Power Players. Humphrey revolutionized the way insurance was sold by creating a systematic approach to building distribution through relationship marketing. He launched World Marketing Alliance which became one of the largest independent marketers of financial services products in the world. Leveraging his 30 years of skills, experience and relationships, he founded HGI, a solution-based company to help individuals and families improve their lives through a professional business opportunity.

Hubert explains to Grant that his mission is to help people improve their lives through increasing their income by being an entrepreneur selling insurance and financial products and services.

Humphrey grew up one of four children in a lower middle-class family in Macon, Georgia. He describes himself as a dreamer as a kid. He says that he always had confidence and wanted to be someone and pursue success. He firmly believes that by publicly declaring his dream to succeed to his family over and over again that it put pressure on him to push forward and for others to put pressure on him to make something of himself. He says, “A dream is a seed. Nurture it. Grow it.”

Humphrey work has produced billions of dollars and has touched millions of people. He says he has no regrets. His choices and path he took has lead him to be the person he is. He wouldn’t change a thing.

He doesn’t compare himself to anyone except himself and says, “The new you has to beat the old you.”

His advice to those starting out, “Be the best you can be. If the problem is big enough and the solution is big enough, you will be successful.”
