Although my mower worked 4 days ago, it no longer works today, thanks to the guaranteed-to-fail brake controller equipped on these units. This video shows how I bypassed this unit to allow me to mow my lawn today. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. Bypassing the brake controller means YOU WILL HAVE NO PARKING BRAKE! The mower can roll on its own and can cause injury. I used this as a temporary measure to get my lawn mowed until the replacement parking controller arrived.

Note, this video is for my 2016 Toro Timecutter Zero turn, which has a fuel shut-off solenoid. This video shows how to retain that functionality to allow the mower to continue running.
