Philippine Navy Will Send Crew to South Korea for BRP Conrado Yap (PS-39)

the Philippine Navy (PN) was intended as a crew for the Pohang class corvette, which MaxDefense first reported as BRP Conrado Yap (PS-39) held a Returning Ceremony this morning.

BRP Conrado Yap is a Republic of Korea (ROKN) Chungju Pohang ROKS (PCC-762) class III corvette.

While the ceremony is being held today, the PN crew flight to South Korea will be held later, maybe this week.

The crew will undergo training and introduction on board, both in operation and maintenance. MaxDefense also received news that the crew will also conduct cross-trains with the Pohang ROKN corvette service class which is active as part of the program.

The ship is currently drained in South Korea because it is undergoing repairs and repairs before being transferred to the Philippine Navy.
