Why you aim putts wrong and miss could be simple

Being a good putter has a lot to do with the putting stroke, but a lot of it has to do with a golfer's ability to read putts. How you read a putt and describe that read, though, may be completely different than how your partner or caddie describes it. That might lead to a lot of frustration and misses.

So what does "one cup out" mean? How about "one ball out"? How about putting the ball on the edge of the cup? Knowing what these terms mean to you, your partner and/or your caddie could be a big reason why you make or miss putts.
