INGREDIENTS :

Dry Ingredients
All-purpose flour- 1 cup (180g)
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp

Wet Ingredients
Sugar - 1/2 cup (100g)
Curd/yogurt - 3/4 cup (180 g)
Oil - 1/2 cup (100 ml)

WALNUT - 40 g (Roughly chopped)
10 g (Finely chopped for garnish)

Dates (optional)- 5-7 (20 g)

Procedure:

✅ Sift together dry ingredient i.e. all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder into a bowl and mix well (Note: do it twice for uniform mixing of ingredients)
✅ Add sugar, curd/yogurt, and cooking oil, whisk well (Note: if u don't have fine sugar just blend it to form powdered sugar)
✅To this wet ingredients bowl, add dry ingredients slowly while stirring
✅ Add walnuts and/or dates (optional)[ Note; if you aren't adding dates use sugar a little more}
✅Pour batter into a greased tin, garnish with finely chopped walnuts at the top
✅Tap a little and place it in the preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180°C
✅Remove the tin from the oven and cool the cake down to room temperature
✅Remove cake from the tin and serve the yummy Eggless Walnut cake
