திருக்காப்பு என்றால் குறையில்லாத காப்பு. நிறைவான ரக்ஷை. இந்த திருப்பல்லாண்டே நமக்கு ஒரு ரக்ஷை. நம்மை எல்லா ஆபத்திலிருந்தும் காக்கக்கூடியது. ஆழ்வார் இதிலே நான்கு முறை பல்லாண்டு பல்லாண்டு என்று கூறுகிறார். ஒருவர் சொன்னால் போதாதென்று அனைவரையும் அழைக்கிறார். ஒருமுறை சொன்னால் போதாதென்று பலமுறை சொல்கிறார் | இப்படி பலமுறை திரும்பத் திரும்பச் சொல்வதன் காரணம் என்ன? ஒரு தாயின் கருணையோடு, பெருமாளுக்கு என்ன வந்து விடுமோ என்று பயந்த பெரியாழ்வாரின் பயத்தைப் பெருமாள் எதை எதைக் காட்டிப் போக்க முயற்சித்தார்? ஆனால் பெரியாழ்வார் ஏன் அவற்றைப் பார்த்தும் பயந்தார்? தனக்கே உரிய பாணியில் சுவாமிகள் விவரிக்கும், பெருமாளுக்கும் ஆழ்வாருக்கும் நடந்த சுவையான உரையாடலை இன்று அனுபவிப்போமா?
