Known for its lush landscape and beautiful homes, Arcadia Proper is bounded by 44th Street to 68th Street, Camelback Rd to the Arizona Canal. Founded in the early 1900s, Arcadia Proper was home to citrus orchards that were fed by the canal system which lies just south of the neighborhood. Around 1920, families began to parcel off 5 acre chunks and build homes. Since then, Arcadia Proper has become the most sought-after neighborhoods in Phoenix, AZ. Many of the original 1950s ranch homes have been scraped to make way for estate style homes that range from $2,000,000 to $10,000,000.

Residents of the Arcadia Proper neighborhood are afforded the opportunity to attend Hopi Elementary, Ingleside Middle School, and Arcadia High School. The neighborhood also puts residents at the heart of one of the best dining areas in town with easy access to local favorites such as La Grande Orange, Ingos, North Italia, The Henry, Chelsea's Kitchen, Vecina, and more! Downtown Phoenix and the Sky Harbor airport are also convenient with about a 10-15 minute commute.
