Trek to the 3rd highest peak of Maharashtra, Ghanchakkar hills and Bhairavgad fort in Shirpunje. Bhairavgad fort in shirpunje is believed to be 2500 years old. The fort there are 23 kund, which were made to store water during those time. The major attraction here is the two caves at the top that host a shrine of lord bhairavnath. Just adjacent to Bhairavgad fort is Ghanchakkar hill which is at the height of 1532mtr which makes it the 3rd highest peak of Maharashtra after kalsubai and shaler.
