Two pompano jigs vanished trying to catch two more pompanos

1:18PM - First catch of the day a 9 inches Pompano. FYI I am using a 50 lb. mono line leader.
2PM - Second catch of the day. A 14 inches Pompano. I cannot imagine how to handle a 17- or 19-inches Pompano. This one is heavy already.
3:41PM - Third catch of the day. A 13 and a half inches Pompano.
4:06PM - Fourth catch of the day. An 11 inches Pompano.
4:46PM - Fifth catch of the day. An 11 and a half inches Pompano.
5:13PM - Storm is coming to Skyway bridge pier. Thanks goodness no waterspout nor tornado.
5:21PM - Another Pompano. Unfortunately, it got away. It was huge. I failed to execute it properly.
5:23 PM - Sixth catch of the day. A Jack. I let it go!
5:38PM - It started raining. Looks like the white van who stole my fishing rod.
8PM - After the heavy rain, I lost two Pompano jigs and 4 teasers trying to catch two more Pompanos to get my daily bag limit of 6 Pompanos.
8:35PM - I decided to stop by the shallow area before I went home. No luck!
9:21PM - I am finally home!
